Alpha Trend is an evolution of a very famous indicator called Trend Magic which is a combination of Commodity Channel Index (CCI) and Average True Range (ATR).
Alpha Trend Indicator is a trend-following indicator and can be used as a confluence or to determine strategy entries. The indicator shines with the ability to identify the flat markets and detect trends more accurate than regular moving averages.
Also indicator changes color to identify bull and bear moves and suggest entry signals.
